San Diego Foodie Guide

You can't live a full life on an empty stomach, so hop in! We're going an an adventure to discover all of the best places to eat in San Diego. It has come to my attention that San Diego is full of some of the best food! After living here for a year now, I'm excited to share some of our favorite places to eat! The Nolen Rooftop is a great place to grab a cocktail and some food with friends! The view is stunning and the fireplaces make the ambience of the rooftop warm and inviting. Be sure to make a reservation before going because it gets packed pretty quickly! Here's what we ordered: Food: Chicken Pesto Flatbread Carnitas Totchos Chili Glazed Meatballs Cocktails: Damnit Janet Smoke and Smile Nolen Smash Graze by Sam across the street from Little Italy Food Hall is a great place to hit right before (or after) the Little Italy Farmer's Market! Here's what we ordered: Food: Best of Sam Board: Char Sui, Szechuan Dumplings, Brisket Slider, Baby Italian, Polpetto di Mano, Marinara e’ Silky Ricotta w/ crusty bread (no substitutions) Chicken, Quinoa & Kale Salad Antipasto Salad If you love seafood the Water Grill is the best place to come for fresh oysters and lobster mac & cheese.
